This is...so amazing. I can't explain it. I tire more easily and become bored at...just about everything! I notice that I am pickier with the food I eat and sleep longer than I am used to. Even worse, looking at my sword is enough to make me lose spirit. For some reason, I cannot fathom the idea of logging that thing around with me.
But in all this, I've become a little...wiser. I've learned that blasted Protect spell, how to teleport (all by simply reading that book I borrowed from Howl!), my ice magic has gained strength and I am now learning another spell. It makes me feel awkward (and even guilty) to think that I am taking advantage of this crisis that everyone bemoans but magic has become so much easier for me this late! I can't help but feel...happy.
I wish I could talk to someone about this -- but I don't want my father or Cid to know what's happened and I'm not sure Howl would appreciate seeing me like this. That silly boy is probably still wallowing in a chest. And anyway, I still don't know how to turn everyone back and perhaps I don't really want to yet so he'll probably just taunt me and scowl at me and maybe taunt me some more.
I should run down a list of names and find someone I can talk to.

Regarding this previous e-mail Michael Lee has forwarded to us about the ritual, has anyone acted upon the names and investigating them?
Mr. Hellboy, I am afraid I have not been very updated with the turn out of your investigating relics and trinkets.
If there is a need to throw someone to field investigations, consider my name an option. I want to get out of this building as much as possible...while the new order is still fresh.

I have been formally taken out of investigations although was allowed to go to my hometown to clarify my hypothesis. Go figure.
